6 Days Kidepo valley /Murchison Falls National Park

Day 1: TRAVEL TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

After early morning breakfast, set off fir a 13 hour journey to kidepo passing through mabira forest, the white nile, the home of mountain elgon, tororo and later in the evening arrive at the beautiful park where you will not only see a large number of animals but also have an 80% chance of seeing all the animals in the park. A lunch stop will be made at mbale as you overlook the beautifully solid standing mountain elgon enroute to the park where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: GAME DRIVES IN KIDEPO VALLEY

After morning breakfast, set out to explore the only park with Uganda with not only cheetahs but where you have an 80% chance of seeing wild cats. In this game drive you will see many giraffes, lions, elephants, Buffalos, zebras, kobs, bushbucks and primates like baboons and monkeys.
After lunch, you will relax as you enjoy beautiful views from your hotel and after set off for an evening game drive to kabale rock, one of the most famous rocks in the park. Here you will have a physical encounter with the wild cats like, cheetahs and lions as they will be coming out to start their day.
At the end of this, return to your hotel where toy will have dinner and Spend the night.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Have early morning breakfast and set off for murchison falls national Park. Enjoy beautiful scenery as you pass through villages, seeing plains and karamojong homesteads, meeting the karamojong people along the way, Kraals and farms. Stop at gulu for lunch and proceed to Murchison falls national park passing through pakwach where you will have an enroute game drive and dinner in your hotel of choice.

Day 4: ACTIVITIES IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Do an early morning game drive of 4-5 hours to catch up with the nocturnal animals like lions and leopards before they retire for the day. You will not only see part of the big five like elephants, Buffalos, lions, leopards but also the herbivorous wild like giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, bushbucks not forgetting birds like the African darters, Goliath herons, yellow-billed Stark and shoebill among others.

After that return for early lunch and later on proceed for a 3-4 hour boat cruise along the nile on a stretch upstream from paraa to the bottom of the falls. Along the way, you will encounter a couple of animals ranging from crocodiles and hippos to water snakes. Kobs, elephants, hippos and giraffes will be seen on the banks of the river while birds like kingfisher, piac-piac and African skimmers will be encountered along the way.this journey will be filled with beautiful scenery that will leave you not only mesmerized but lens excited. DAY 5: CHIMP TRACKING AND VISIT TO TOP OF FALLS

After an early morning breakfast, set off to budongo forest where you will be briefed and embark on a 3-4 hour chimp tracking experience. In the forest you will not only encounter a number of unique tree species but also birds, primates and reptiles. You will spend an hour with the chimps and later retire for lunch.

After lunch you will have a drive to the top of the falls where you will relax and take pictures before heading back to your hotel for dinner and spend the night

DAY 6: RETURN TO KAMPALA WITH ENROUTE GAME DRIVE AND STOP AT ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

Drive to Zziwa rhino sanctuary with an enroute game drive leading you out of the park. Spend 2-3 hours in the rhino sanctuary with the 22 nearly extinct southern white rhinos and the only place you can get to see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Rhino trekking is very rewarding as it will not only involves a nature walk but also bird watching especially the famous shoebill as well as beautiful scenery. You will have lunch enroute to Kampala / drop off point
